OCEAN PROGRAM

This five-day immersive conservation program in partnership with one of our partners at the coast is designed for high school students aged 14–16. It aims to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards through hands-on activities, cultural immersion, and collaborative learning. Participants will explore vibrant marine ecosystems north of Mombasa, engage with local communities, and develop practical conservation skills. By combining experiential learning with scientific understanding, the program empowers students to address marine conservation challenges effectively and advocate for sustainability in their communities.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this transformative 5-day program, participants will deepen their understanding of marine ecosystems, exploring the vital roles of coral reefs, biodiversity and ecological interactions. They will engage in hands-on conservation work, collaborate with local communities to promote sustainable practices and develop creative solutions to pressing challenges. Through storytelling, art, and digital media, participants will amplify their advocacy efforts, fostering a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
